Our course will give you the educational and creative framework – and the necessary contacts – to launch you on your path to becoming an interior designer.

From the outset, you’ll set about amassing a huge range of skills, including drawing, photography, model-making, measuring and documenting spaces and buildings.

You’ll study design in all its forms – architectural, commercial and retail, residential, furniture, set and exhibition designs. Much of the work will be done on your feet as you visit local sites and examine their features.

BSc (Hons) Architectural Design Technology (Accredited by CIAT)

Architectural Design Technology is an interdisciplinary course that blends architecture with building engineering, building technology and construction management. Our team of architects, architectural technologists, and engineers will equip you with all the skills and knowledge you need for a rewarding career in this growing field. You will benefit from the contribution of architects and professionals from world-renown practices.

The programme is full-time 4 years with a placement year. Apprenticeship routes have also been introduced in 16/17, in which employers within the construction sector, working on Construction Design Management as an apprenticeship to gain more industry experience.

The course has a strong grounding in design projects and is particularly recognisable by its ‘hands-on’ approach to architectural design. There is a strong focus on technical studies as well as computer software for
