With our BA (Hons)/Diploma Fashion courses at JACCD DIA, Design Institute Africa, students can hone in on their identity and create their own brand at our award-winning Institution. Our course prides itself on producing world-class designers and industry experts, through tailoring of skills, transforming students into creative thinkers and entrepreneurs. Alongside industry experience through work placements to develop key transferable skills, studets are also trained in design developiment, pattern cutting and garment manufacturing, drapery, tailoring and fabric manupulation designs, to become an expert in pattern cutting, garment manufacture, drape, tailoring and fabric manipulation.
3D Clo
CLO’s robust 3D simulation engine allows you to create garment styles with countless layers and intricate details. Design a variety of garments, from a simple blouse to technical outerwear with complicated pattern pieces and construction. Instantly review changes as any modifications to 2D patterns, colours, textures and finishing details are immediately simulated. Improve quality of designs by checking silhouette and fit sooner in the development process, allowing sample time for refinement before finalization.
Special Effect Make-up
Special effects makeup, or SFX makeup, is a creative and technical field within the makeup industry that involves using makeup, prosthetics, and other techniques to create realistic and imaginative characters, injuries, and other visual effects. The field offers various career opportunities in film, television, theater, haunted attractions, theme parks, and more. Skilled SFX makeup artists are in demand for their ability to create stunning and convincing effects, You will develop an understanding and experience in this at JACCD Design Institute Africa.
